Description
This track is a result is Peter Stewart’s determination to give Townsville a good MTB beginner’s track. He has been working on it for months. So give it a go I’m sure you’ll love it
To get there head south from Cluden lights on Sturt Drive. At about 5.3 k turn right onto Mt Stuart Lookout road. About 0.8km turn right again to a dirt car park.
With your bike go north through the creek about 500m to the start of the beginners track in the vicinity of a car wreck. Beginners may wish to walk this access track as it may be very rough and torn up by 4WDs.
