Description
The Auburn Century! Featuring: lots of climbing – over 60 miles of it without repose (there’s only a brief 2 mile break around mile 20). Including the absolutely grueling Iowa Hill climb, on which you can get yourself timed and ranked against the other riders. What goes up must go down of course so you’ll have a nice 50 mile descent to look forward to.
A rather unique undertaking as I don’t know of many events that throw such long, uninterrupted, continuing climbing effort at you. If you survive everything, it’s a lot of fun though. You can also opt out along the way and choose to cut things short and do the 50 or 75 mile course instead.
