Description
This is a hiking trail I am designing that will run the length of Phuket (Thailand’s largest island) The trail is to be divided into sections starting in the south at the southern tip of Phuket which is called Laem Prom Thep. I have completed 2 sections (A and B) to the town of Patong on the west coast. Patong is the most popular tourist destination on Phuket and has 100’s of hotels, bars, restaurants and other tourist attractions. But our trail is designed to get away from all of that and enjoy the quiet and sometimes wild jungles and rubber tree plantations that make up this very mountainous island.
