Description
An excellent day on the bike with Ed, Patrick and another 75 cyclists. Excellent weather – cool but sunny. Did 29:15 up Mtn Charlie Rd and averaged 15.2 mph (riding time 4:15) for the metric century. A totally fun day! My heartrate was a little high on the climbs – and my legs didn’t feel real strong, but I had no trouble staying with Ed and the other guys – need to really work on my climbing, though – I think I could have done about 2 minutes faster on the Mtn Charlie Rd climb, to get down to about 27:15 – about 2 minutes off my PB – but my heartrate would have probably been maxed out at about 160 bpm for the whole climb!
