Description

Starts at the 1700m ski station of Puy Saint Vincent heads SE to the exposed and hard singletrack climb onto the plateau d’Oreac. After this a fast and engrossing single leads to a faster rough forest track descent to the Col de Pousterle. A mixed single and forest track climb from here (hard in places) brings you to Les Tetes, at just under 2000m. Now the big descent…singletrack with around 80 switchbacks though the bois de la Pignee. A further single technical traverse with some tricky navigation in the middle brings you back to the campsite near Les Vigneaux. An awesome and strenuous ride.
