Description
As usual, our engineering meeting meant I had to join the Tuesday Noon Ride after they got started – so I joined them at the top of the Olive Hill sprint, but forgot to turn on my Garmin until we were already roaring up Alpine Rd (the second Alpine). I got dropped on Alpine, so I did not do the Willowbrook loop. Instead, I just mosied my way back to Woodside via Portola Rd and Mtn Home Rd – when I got onto Mtn Home, I met up with one of the cyclists from the ride and we talked about my new Trek bike. One of these days, I’ll actually hang on for an entire Tuesday or Thursday Noon Ride – that is my goal for this year – complete just ONE Tuesday or Thursday ride, from start to finish….
