Description
‘Ride around town’ in Chamonix! It was raining all day, and it was raining hard. At 4pm it finally cleared out and around 5pm I went on a short ride – most of the trails hold up really well in wet conditions and/or are well drained – the soil here is rocky. The route I did is generally tracking the ‘route VTT rouge’, or the route indicated by trail post signs with red triangles. There are some nice sections but generally it’s not too challenging or interesting. The real fun is higher up the mountain…
