Annadel MTBR ride

A great ride I did together with some MTBR folks at Annadel State Park. The conditions on this beautiful day in late fall (two days after Thanksgiving) were just stellar: tacky trails, hardly any mud, and the sun out all day. Steve (Wherewolf on MTBR) had an ambitous +40 mile ‘Tour de Annadel’ loop in mind and guided us through almost all corners of this perfect mountainbike destination. Annadel has it all: miles and miles of rolling singletrack, rocky tech climbs and descents and sweeping vista’s on the beautiful Northern Californian wine country.

I had to cut things short around the 30 mile point, but will be back to record Steve’s full Tour de Annadel next time, as we’ll undoubtedly do this excellent ride more often. The route that I’ve done: Channel drive – Richardson – South Burma – Marsh – Lawndale – Schultz – Ridge – South Burma – North Burma – Live Oak – Rough Go – Canyon – Marsh – Two Quarry – back to Channel.
