Description
A fun solo ride at an easy/moderate to moderate pace – I took it pretty easy on the way to Alpine Rd, pushed the pace a bit before getting to the turnaround at Alpine Rd and Portola Rd, then pushed it a bit on the way back at a moderate pace. I ended up doing an average speed of 18.1 mph for the entire ride, broken down to 17.4 mph on the way out and then 19.1 mph on the way back. All in all, a very nice and quick shorter ride on a gently rolling course – and my first time averaging more than 18 mph for a ride that lasted about an hour or more (technically, it was just under an hour, by about 28 seconds!). Woooooohooooo!!!!
