Description

See also TahoeBC’s (Jeff) version and turtleboy’s (Mike).

We took a different route than Mike and co (down into the Vasquez ‘hell hole’) but both Jeff’s and my GPS went out of the juice a couple of miles before the end.

Hence I stitched this GPX file together using another piece of track, originating from Jeff’s unforeseen bike-and-hike trip a couple of weeks earlier (when his frame broke). I edited the time field in this section to roughly match our finish time. Time info is hence not very accurate. Elevation gain on the other hand should be pretty spot on.

As per Jeff, this was a very nice stretch of the legs indeed!
